The Indian Auto Expo, the largest automobile show in Asia, has been postponed. The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has announced that it is postponing the Expo in Greater Noida that is scheduled for February 2022 in the wake of Corona spread and 3rd wave projections.
The SIAM said there would be huge public gathering if this event is hosted and maintaining social distance and following Covid norms could be difficult. There could be risk of Covid spread, so the Indian Auto Expo will be postponed.
Reviewing the situation from time to time the next Indian Auto Expo dates would be announced later this year said SIAM. It should be noted that Six lakh people attended the 2020 AutoExpo.
