Tata Motors will be increasing price of their passenger vehicles from today (August 3). Though Tata didn’t give a reason for the price hike but increase in input costs could be the reason. The car sales in July have shown a sign of recovery, so the car manufacturer will benefit in both ways.
This is a minor price increase which is 0.8% depending upon model to model. Tata motors have increased their car prices for the 3rd time in this year. Nexon, Nexon EV, Tiago, Harrier and Tigor cars prices increased.
The steep increase in metal price like steel has forced the Indian auto manufacturers to increase their vehicle price. Toyota and Honda cars price are also increased.
