Tata Motors has today unveiled a brand new Tigor EV in India. This is Tata’s second electric car in India after the successful Nexon EV. The new compact sedan EV will help the company expand the portfolio to reach the buyers who have been looking for a good boot space in this segment.
The new Tata Tigor EV is equipped with Ziptron technology for optimal performance. It comes with a 30.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack and delivers 55kW peak power output and 170 Nm of torque. Tigor electric car can reach 0 to 60 kms in 5.7 seconds. Once fully charged the car is expected to have a range of 300 kms. The fast charging capability of the new Tata electric sedan car will charge 0 to 80 percent in just 1 hour.
The Indian car manufacturer has showcased a new Teal blue colour car. Customers can pre-book Tigor EV at Tata dealerships for Rs 21000.00 only. Full price details of Tigor EV are not announced yet but expected price is Rs 11 lakhs.
Tigor EV car IP67 rated battery pack and 72 V 3-Phase AC Induction Motor is weatherproof and comes with 8 year and 160000 kms battery and motor warranty.
