Tata Motors is tasting the success in the not so evolved electric car category in India and thanks to the Tata Nexon EV. This car from Indian automaker has shown the world that India is not far behind in making the world ready electric car.
Tata Nexon EV sales in India are equaling that of the Nexon diesel models. With 30.2 kWh battery, company claimed 300 Kms range and price Rs 13.99 lakhs for Nexon EV and the brand name are the plus points.

MG Compact EV
The Chinese car manufacturer MG is already selling MG ZS EV priced Rs 21 lakhs but to capture the huge market it is planning to bring a compact electric SUV in India.
The company has given a hint of launcing compact MG EV with in the price range of 10 lakhs to compete with Nexon EV. We can expect to see the new vehicle in mid 2022 or in the starting of 2023.
The India made compact SUV XUV300 is a successful ride for Mahindra motors. To catch up the EV ride in India Mahindra is betting on eXUV300, the electric variant.
Mahindra eXUV300 expected price is Rs 14 lakhs and launch date is in December 2021. Coming to specifications the new electric XUV300 will have 40 kWh battery and 130hp electric motor with a 300 km range on single charge.
Design wise there aren’t going to be any major changes but the front bumper and interiors could be matched to the look of an EV style trends.
