Ola company revealed some of the features of the much awaited Ola electric scooter. Bhavish Agarwal, CEO of the company, said that the reverse mode feature, which is very rare in two-wheelers, is part of the upcoming E-scooter in India. He also posted a video of the scooter going in reverse with the caption ‘Revolution to reverse climate change’.
The scooter can be reversed at incredible speeds. ‘ Reverse mode is very rare in two-wheelers. This feature is available only in expensive e-scooters like Bajaj Chetak, Ether 450X, TVS iQube and Honda Gold wing.
The company has previously revealed that the Ola scooter can be charged up to 50 percent in 18 minutes. It is said to travel up to 75 km with half charge. In addition to this, it also includes a state-of-the-art feature of starting a scooter through the app without a lock.
Ola Electric Scooter bookings are currently in progress. You can book a scooter by paying Rs.499. It will be launched on August 15 to mark the 75th Independence Day. More features will be revealed on the launch day. This scooter, which is being manufactured in India to international standards, has created lot of buzz among the buyers. Ola has claimed that it received more than 1 lakh bokings in less than 24 hours of starting the sale. This bike is likely to stand out as the best in this segment in terms of speed, charging, and boot space. It will be available in total of 10 colors.
