The much hyped new Ola Electric Scooter will be launched on August 15th announced the company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal. Looks like Ola is trying to connect the new two wheeler EV emotionally by launching it on Indian Independence Day. It should be noted that Ola Electric Scooter has more established rivals Hero Electric, Bajaj Chetak EV & TVS iQube.
Ola Electric Scooter has got huge response for its pre booking. More than 1 lakh scooters were ordered on their website paying a booking price of Rs 499. The company is marketing the new two wheeler EV with a tag line “The start of a revolution”. We have to see what kind of change this new Electric bike will bring in the India auto market.
The Ola Electric Scooter will be launched in 10 colour models and the vehicle is expected to have 150 Kms range with a full charge. The Ola Electric Scooter price and availability details will be shared soon by the company.
