Tamil hero Vijay denied starting a political party and distanced himself from All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. The controversy has started after Vijay’s father Director SA Chandrasekhar has applied to the Election Commission of India to register the party with the actor name.
In a twist, Thalapthy Vijay urged his fans not to join or serve the part though it is started by his father. His PR has released a press statement confriming that Vijay has nothing to do with the party started by his father and warned to take strict action for using his name or pictures for any political purpose.
Speaking to a news channel Vijay father SA Chandrasekar said “he has applied for registration of political party named All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam and it’s his intitaitve and not Vijay’s political party.” He also said he cannot comment on Vijay political entry.
The actor’s fans and people are now wondering if this is a rift or a planned drama. For now Vijay releasing a statement on political party show us that he is not happy with his father’s decision. We have to wait and watch how things will unfold as the Tamil Nadu go for next general elections.
