India’s First Coronavirus Case In Kerala, Girl From Wuhan University

The dangerous Coronavirus is now reported in Kerala, India. The official from Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released a statement confirming that a person in Kerala is tested positive for the deadly virus. This is officially the first positive coronavirus case in India.

A girl who was a student at the Wuhan University returned to Kerala. She was suspected to be affected with disease and was put in a isolation ward. Her samples are tested positive for coronavirus. Kerala health minister KK Shailaja confirmed that the girl is stable now and is not showing any severe symptoms. The girl is now under observation at Thrissur general hospital and soon she will be shifted to an isolation ward at Thrissur medical college.

Airports in India are being equipped with thermal screening sensors and other medical devices to detect passengers for the traces of coronavirus. We are seeing people wearing masks at airports to protect themselves from the virus. Sunny Leone has posted a photo of her and husband Daniel Weber on twitter wearing a protective mask at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai.

As of now the reports indicate total 15 countries in the world have reported 68 cases of coronavirus excluding China. The situation in China is getting worse as 170 people are killed by the dreaded virus till Thursday. More than 7600 cases are reported in that country.
